Tubbs Fire Recovery
12/6/2017 (Permalink)
This October the most destructive fire in California's history ravaged Sonoma County. The Tubbs Fire has taken dozens of lives and has destroyed over 36,000 acres of land, almost 3,000 homes, and 400,000 square feet of commercial buildings. Firefighters throughout Northern California drove towards Santa Rosa, to bravely extinguish the fire nonstop until it was 100% contained on Halloween Day.
This Friday marks two months since the Tubbs Fires started, and our team here in East Sacramento and the Arden-Arcade area has had the honor of working alongside other professionals throughout the Sonoma County's clean up and restoration process. It is not only our pleasure, but our moral responsibility, to help communities and families rebuild after this devastation. Although our SERVPRO team is committed to clean up and restoration, we are also doing all we can to make sure that the rebuilding process is smooth and stress-free as possible.
The important thing to remember throughout this devastating time is that although there is still a lot of work to be done, and the Sonoma County will be affected by this for a long time, we are still #SonomaStrong and all our communities will come together to rebuild after this loss.
